My name is Emma Rosa García Barajas. I was born in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato—the birthplace of Mexico’s Independence—a town rich in history, courage, and national pride. Growing up in this land deeply shaped my identity and the way I see life. Dolores Hidalgo represents not only the origin of a nation, but also the strength of a people who believe in freedom, hard work, and dignity. I am deeply proud to be from Dolores Hidalgo, not only because of the historic Cry of Independence, but also because it is the hometown of great figures such as José Alfredo Jiménez, whose music captures the soul and emotions of the Mexican people.
I lived in Dolores Hidalgo until the age of 25, surrounded by my family, my roots, and the values that continue to guide my decisions today. At 24, I completed my degree in International Trade in the city of Querétaro—a stage of my life that strengthened my discipline, professional vision, and desire for growth.
At 25, I got married and, together with my husband, made the decision to immigrate to the United States with the hope of building a better life. My husband’s support, companionship, and commitment have been essential throughout this journey. I am deeply grateful to walk beside him—for his constant encouragement and for being a strong pillar in our family and in the projects we have built with hard work, faith, and determination.

Arriving in the U.S.
My journey as an immigrant began with hard work and humility. When I arrived in the United States in 2003, I started working as a janitor at a corporate office. While some might see this as a difficult beginning, for me it was a blessing. I have always believed that all honest work is honorable and a powerful teacher. From that first job, I learned the value of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment.
In 2004, I completed a course to become a tax preparer. In 2005, I began working at a tax firm, where I gained technical experience, practical knowledge, and a deep understanding of the responsibility that comes with handling people’s finances and earning their trust.
I remained an employee until 2010, growing professionally and realizing that behind every tax return there is a story—a family, a sacrifice, and a dream.
Family
I am the mother of four children, one of whom lives in heaven. My first son, Ángel, was born in 2005 and passed away that same year—a deeply painful experience that marked my life forever and strengthened my faith in God.
In 2006, my second son, Edgar Omar, was born. Later came Emmanuel, and in 2018, Eliel Jacob arrived—the youngest—completing our family.
Each of my children has been my driving force, my inspiration, and the reason I chose to move forward with courage, love, and purpose.
The Company
In 2011, I took a decisive step and began my first journey as a sole proprietor. In 2013, MCS Tax Professionals was formed—a company that completed its cycle in 2025, leaving me with invaluable lessons and the clarity to begin a new chapter.
In July 2025, Emma’s Tax & Business Solutions Inc. was founded—my personal and professional project, where I serve as Founder and CEO. The mission of this company is to support the Hispanic community in growing, organizing, and strengthening their businesses, guiding them with clarity, ethics, and commitment.
I am deeply grateful for every client’s story, as each one brings valuable lessons and reaffirms my calling to serve. My faith in God guides every step I take. I am infinitely thankful to God the Father, who is present in every decision, every project, and every stage of my life.
